Bluegrass Vaccine formed in Berlin as an autoimmune response to the German COVID-19 Crisis. Antibodies from Australia, USA, NZ and Germany combined to create a powerful reaction to the lack of gigs in summer 2020. From jams along the canals in Kreuzberg to a regular Thursday night gig at jazz and blues club Yorckschlösschen, Bluegrass Vaccine brought the high lonesome sound to German ears. Featuring stranded circus performers Grant Arthur and Ben Harrison on banjo and mandolin, native German Matthias Itzenplitz on guitar, wild card kiwi Eden Ottignon and American born fiddler Obin Sturm. Stockpile your toilet paper, mask up and sanitise your flesh because Bluegrass Vaccine are going to give you a shot of lightning fast picking and sweet harmonies straight in your eardrums.
